Join us for a dynamic online training session designed to equip domestic abuse professionals with invaluable tools and insights in addressing male or female perpetrators’ problem behaviour and to support the client in making change and, where possible, building healthier relationships with family.

Using a transformative Strength-Based Approach, a proven methodology for engaging with adult perpetrators, this training will assist professionals to unravel the causes of previous problem behaviour, and move forward by supporting the perpetrator to identify his or her best hopes for the future.

Throughout the day, participants will explore:

  • Understanding the impact of past trauma on adult perpetrators
  • Real-world case studies illustrating the effectiveness of the Strength-Based Approach
  • Exploring the positive correlation between this approach and improved parenting
  • Unravelling the motivations behind willingness to change unwanted behaviours (looking at the neuroscience)
  • How to set specific, achievable goals towards positive change
  • Practical techniques for measuring safety using scaling questions

Led by Joe Lettieri, this training aims to provide attendees with actionable strategies to foster lasting change and create safer environments for all.
