Teams working with people facing complex health and social problems are supposed to engage in reflective practice, and a lot is talked about it – but if we don’t do it in a rigorous and structured way, we will miss opportunities to get creative, use the full wisdom and resources of the team, and people facing the most barriers to help are likely to fall out of preventative support. Our teams are likely to burn out, or become reactive.
Teams who are accustomed to being reactive and solution focused may feel worried by the prospect of reflective practice and feel poorly engaged – so we need to do it right.
This training will teach an evidence based tool for reflective practice in complex systems, and give tools and advice for how to embed this successfully in your own team and organisation.
